Property Description:

Laingsburg Elementary School was built in 1962.  It  is a one-story building with approximately 65,800 square feet.  Wall construction is brick and block, with a flat, insulated roof.  Windows are double pane.   There are three 100 gallon natural gas fired water heating tanks and two boilers.  There are HVAC units in classroom. The school has a gymnasium.  There are approximately 440 students in grades K-5. with 25 teachers.


Case Study:

Our plans for improving energy efficiency at Laingsburg Elementary School include updating the old HVAC, frequency drives,  and gym lighting (ballasts and energy efficient lighting fixtures. The HVAC is all computer controlled, along with our parking lot lights, so we can schedule their use.
