  • uses native landscaping
  • has a power conservation policy

We are proud to now recycle district-wide paper, plastic, cardboard, and light bulbs. We did not do that prior to 1997. We have gardens in our district and students and staff help maintain them. We help out Michigan farmers by buying from them. Our entire district uses T-8 and we have put occupancy sensors in everywhere. We have T-5's in all of our gymnasiums. Computers are shut down by a software system we purchased. We have timers on appliances and have removed light bulbs from our vending machines.
